Betty-mania refuses to die.
Actress Betty White gave "Saturday Night Live" a huge ratings boost in May after a Facebook campaign that drew hundreds of thousands of fans. Wildly popular "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer is saying she'd like to cast White as a vampire in "Breaking Dawn." And now, the 88-year-old is a calendar pinup girl.
Roll your eyes, if you will. (You suspect White is rolling hers -- all the way to the bank.) Judging from preview stills, the 2011 calendar from Workman Publishing shows glam shots of White being tended by a Chippendales-esque posse of tanned and oiled hunks. Looks like a wish-come-true for the man-hungry Sue Ann Nivens, one of White's memorable Minnesota characters from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."
In any case, all of White's proceeds from calendar sales will go to the Morris Animal Foundation in Denver, which funds veterinary research.
Maybe Meyer is on to something: White already may be among the undead.
