Best use of a Hold Steady song to date...

10th inning at the Twins game last night.

The Twins were down by a run (again). It was do or die. Michael Cuddyer started it off by whacking the ball into left field. By the time he jumped onto third and stopped running -- clearly on his way home to tie it up with no outs -- the soundtrack behind the eurpting sound of 54,088 fans was "Massive Nights."

The song will sound even better in the winning moments against the Yankees... all too fitting in the case of Minnesota's best New York-based band.
