Fishermen are excited about the fishing season. We're also seeing new-fishermen which is great. Folks are enjoying the stress free activity and come back in with smiles on their faces.
Fishing continues to be great in the Otter Tail Lake area. Walleyes continue to be found in 10 to 25 feet of water with crawlers and leeching. Night bite has been pretty good as well on crank baits in only 5 to 8 feet of water.
Sunfish and crappies are biting on the smaller lakes like usual. Now being found in only 3 to 8 feet of water.
Bass opener was great for folks. Sally Jigs are doing a great job for bass lovers.
