The Minneapolis November Project — part of a national movement that combines extreme fitness with intense bonding rituals (mandatory hugs!) and flash-mob-style gatherings broadcast through social media — offers free 45-minute workouts held in scenic locations across the city. Led by a trio of athletic "tribe leaders," the group is open to anyone willing to "just show up" and exercise before sunrise. Be sure to bring your A-game. ­november-project.com
