Spoiler alert! George Mallory never came down from Everest. We don't know if he made it to the top during that 1924 quest. But Julia Roberts doesn't care about any of that. Her Red Om Productions is co-producing a film that tells the story of "the toll it takes on [Mallory's] marriage as the mountain becomes his obsession," says Variety. Hey, at least he brought a photo of the missus to plant at the summit. He must have cared! Shekhar Kapur (the "Elizabeth" movies) will direct, but there's no word on casting. Jake Gyllenhaal and Claire Danes?
