Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama

The junior rushed 20 times for a game-high 140 yards, helping the Crimson Tide dominate the line of scrimmage. Lacy had 72 yards before the first quarter ended against a defense that came in allowing a stingy 92 yards a game on the ground.

DEFENSIVE MVP

C.J. Mosley, LB, Alabama

The junior led a defense that limited Notre Dame to 32 rushing yards. He made eight tackles, including five solo stops and one of a loss.
