The trailer for Macalester College alum Peter Berg's "Battleship," loosely based on the board game, shuffles together leering shots of Brooklyn Decker's cleavage, macho military bimbos and flying alien submarines. Pretty much what Michael Bay dreams about in his bubble bath. It looks cretinous, and these teasers are where the movie people want to make a great first impression. Either this is a brilliant internet prank or the worst film of summer 2012 is comin' at us full speed ahead.
