The Vikings will face Arizona on Thursday night without, arguably, their three best defensive players.

Linebacker Anthony Barr (groin), safety Harrison Smith (knee, hamstring) and tackle Linval Joseph (foot) have all been declared out for the Thursday night contest.

In addition, starting safety Andrew Sendejo (knee) and backup linebacker Brandon Watts (rib) won't play. This comes after Antone Exum Jr., who started the past two games at safety, was put on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday because of shoulder and rib injuries.

Safety Robert Blanton (knee) is questionable, meaning there's a 50 percent chance he won't be active. Defensive lineman Scott Crichton (ankle) is probable.

The Vikings activated a couple of safeties Tuesday.
