Another of those Twin Cities punk bands that's better known on the road than it is at home (see also: Off With Their Heads, Small Towns Burn a Little Slower and, up until a few years ago, Motion City Soundtrack), Banner Pilot just dropped a new album Tuesday that could be the one to take it to the next level. The quartet's third disc, titled "Heart Beats Pacific," arrived via Fat Wreck Chords, same label as Dillinger Four, NOFX, No Use For a Name, etc.

Through the wonder of modern internet hype, the entire album is now streaming for free over at the AOL Music site. There is also a song-by-song breakdown of the album over at Alternative Press. And last but not least, you can also get a free download of the rousing single, "Spanish Reds," off the record company's site. Way to work it, boys. The disc was recorded at the Terrarium in northeast Minneapolis with Jacques Wait, who has also produced Off With Their Heads and the Soviettes (and happens to be Pink Mink's bassist, too).

Banner Pilot's hometown release party is next Saturday (Nov. 5) at the Turf Club.
