Vikings starting strong-side linebacker Anthony Barr and starting free safety Harrison Smith left the game in the first quarter Sunday against Seattle and were listed questionable to return.

They were downgraded to doubtful in the third quarter.

The Seahawks led 21-0 at halftime at TCF Bank Stadium and added a touchdown early in the third quarter for a 28-0 lead.

Both were also listed questionable on the final injury report and neither fully participated in practice this week, but still started Sunday's game.

Barr had been nursing an injured hand and groin, leaving Sunday with what was announced as a groin injury. Smith was nursing a bad knee, but left in the first quarter with hamstring issues.

Smith paced the sideline and was stretched out by trainers before leaving for the locker room in the second quarter. He eventually returned midway through the quarter. Barr rested on the bench after leaving the game and remained on the sideline.

Smith sat out last week at Atlanta with a knee injury and Barr revealed last Monday he had been playing with a broken hand.
