Backbackbackback Berman will call Vikings season opener on ESPN

The early game (Philadelphia at Atlanta) will get the top announcing crew of Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden.

The Vikings play at San Francisco at 9:40 p.m. (Central) on Monday, Sept. 14, to open their regular season.

ESPN confirmed Chris Berman will be the play by play announcer for that game, with Trent Dilfer as the analyst.
