Read emails between Regent Steve Sviggum and former U president Robert Bruininks

New members of the University of Minnesota's governing board have questioned growth in the annual budget. The most vocal is Steve Sviggum, a former GOP lawmaker, who became a regent this spring. In May, he wrote to former U President Robert Bruininks, suggesting that the U ought to shave staff.
