Doubling down on her debt ceiling stance as negotiators from both parties seek a deal, Rep. Michele Bachmann released an Iowa TV ad Wednesday emphasizing her opposition to a debt-limit increase under any circumstances.

The ad begins with Bachmann staring into the camera and telling viewers: "I will not vote to increase the debt ceiling."

Bachmann's ad comes a day after she voted against the "Cut, Cap and Balance," which came a day after she declared her support for the "Cut, Cap and Balance" pledge. Bachmann says she voted against the bill because it didn't go far enough and "repeal Obamacare" — a clause she added to her personalized pledge before she signed it — but the bill also included an eventual debt limit increase once all conditions were met.

Bachmann's campaign said the ad will run statewide beginning today.

The MInnesota Republican will be in Iowa today along with former Gov. Tim Pawlenty, though the two presidential hopefuls are not appearing together.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
