Barbara Bachman, who was seriously injured during an attack on her and her husband in Beijing during the Olympics, was released from the hospital Tuesday.

Her physician, Dr. Scott Zietlow, of the Mayo Clinic, said that she "continues to make an extraordinary recovery from her injuries."

Todd Bachman, 62, chairman and chief executive of Bachman's Inc. nursery and landscaping, was stabbed to death by a Chinese man on Aug. 9. Barbara Bachman was injured and was treated in Beijing before being transferred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

The visitation for Todd Bachman is scheduled for Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Friday at Christiania Lutheran Church in Lakeville.

The Bachmans were in Beijing to watch the Games with their daughter -- Elisabeth Bachman McCutcheon, a former member of the Olympic volleyball team -- and her husband, Hugh McCutcheon, coach of the gold-medal-winning U.S. men's volleyball team.
