Ba-da-bing: Pawlenty does standup

During his final State of the State speech, the governor fires off one-liners

February 11, 2010 at 5:27PM

Standing in the well of the state House, Gov. Tim Pawlenty tossed off a few jokes amid his policy proposals during his State of the State address. Among them, aimed at the gaggle of folks who want to succeed him:

"Schedule a monthly haircut to manage your mullet," a reference to his sometimes-derided hairstyle.

"Try to make sure the person responsible for representing your positions in court, the attorney general, is also not your re-election opponent," a reference to former AG Mike Hatch.

"Before you take the microphone at a Minnesota Wild game, carefully practice pronouncing the word puck," a reference to his infamous verbal gaffe at the Xcel Center.
