A man from Avon, Minn., has been charged with assaulting a man with a dangerous weapon. His weapon of choice: a skid loader.

Dale Hadrich, 67, and another man were doing chores Tuesday at a property in Holding Township when they got into an argument. Hadrich drove his skid loader toward the other man, who fled on foot and escaped unharmed, according to a criminal complaint filed in Stearns County District Court.

When deputies arrived, Hadrich swung his fist and grazed one of the deputies.

Hadrich was charged with felony second-degree assault and a gross misdemeanor.
