Rice County authorities have released a sketch of a suspect in a shooting at a house party near Northfield last weekend and are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.

As many as 300 people were at a party put on by a Minneapolis rap musician on a 43-acre property in the 4800 block of Elmore Avenue in Webster Township when shots rang out around 3 a.m. Saturday. A woman was shot in the chest and three men were injured, according to the Rice County Sheriff's Office.

All of the victims were taken to a hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

A witness who saw the shooting of Heather Nery, 23, of Rochester, at the Summer Kick Off Mansion Party provided a description of a gunman, which police and investigators with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension used to develop the sketch.

The male suspect is described as being about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, 150 pounds with a slender build, with medium to dark skin and in his early to mid-20s. The Sheriff's Office did not identify the suspect's race.

Meanwhile, authorities from several law enforcement agencies that responded to the mayhem are asking for anybody with information to call them.

"We know there are many people that have reached out to the media with their stories but have yet to contact the Sheriff's Office to provide a statement to us," said Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn.

"We know there are people that were in attendance and witnessed these events. If you want to see justice served for the victims and all of the attendees that were put in harm's way, we ask you to please contact our investigators."

To entice witnesses to come forward, authorities on Thursday announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and convictions of those responsible for the shootings.

Anybody with information can call the Rice County Sheriff's Office at 1-507-334-4391.
