FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Authorities have identified the windsurfer whose body was found in Lake Winnebago as 71-year-old Ronald W. Sandven, of Sheboygan Falls.

According to The Reporter Media (http://fondul.ac/12C3oD8 ), medical examiners are working to complete an autopsy.

A search was launched after Sandven's windsurfing board was found washed up on the east shore of Lake Winnebago Saturday afternoon. Sandven's body was discovered about 90 minutes later, about 300 yards from shore.

Department of Natural Resources warden Jeremy Cords says Sandven was windsurfing alone and not wearing a life jacket.
