Authorities ID 71-year-old who died in Cass County crash

Authorities on Thursday identified a 71-year-old man who died in a one-car crash in Cass County earlier this week.

Roger Doerr, of Longville, died just before 11 p.m. Tuesday when his 1999 Ford Explorer rolled over on 12th Avenue NE. in Kego Township, on the edge of Longville, according to the Cass County sheriff's office. The car also carried one passenger, a 28-year-old Longville man, who suffered minor injuries, and was treated and released at the scene.
