Joe Clark rushed for two touchdowns in the final six minutes to help Augustana rally for a 32-23 victory over St. Cloud State in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game on Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Huskies led 23-14 with nine minutes remaining before Augustana pulled with 23-17 on a 38-yard field goal by Drew Behrens with 7:41 to play.
Both of Clark's TDs (with 5:22 remaining and 2:12 remaining) came after the Vikings took possession inside the Huskies' 5-yard line.
Clark finished with 70 yards on 22 carries.
Augustana quarterback Josh Hanson passed for 256 yards and two touchdowns.
Tyler Schulte's 34- and 87-yard TD receptions in the second quarter gave the Vikings a 14-7 lead, but the Huskies rebounded to take a 23-14 lead.
Fred Williams 60-yard touchdown reception from Phillip Klaphake gave the Huskies a 22-14 lead with 9:43 remaining.
Concordia (St. Paul) 38, Minot State 17: Spencer Ohm passed for 214 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a touchdown to lead the Golden Bears to the nonconference victory in St. Paul.
