In a busy weekend at USA Wrestling's women's nationals, Emily Shilson of Maple Grove won championships in two divisions—junior and under-23—and will compete in both world championships later this year.

Shilson swept a best-of-three series against Alleida Martinez to win the U23 title at 50 kilograms Sunday in Irving, Texas. The Augsburg sophomore captured the 50 kg junior championship Friday with a sweep of Samara Chavez. In her four championship matches, Shilson recorded three pins and a 12-2 decision.

A world gold and silver medalist at the cadet level, Shilson will compete at the junior world championships Aug. 16-22 in Ufa, Russia, and at the U23 world championships Nov. 1-7 in Belgrade, Serbia.
