Augsburg wins MIAC golf championship

Augsburg held off St. Thomas to win its second MIAC men's golf championship Monday at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids. The one-stroke victory over St. Thomas also gave the Aguuies an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament. St. Thomas' Piete Sienko was medalist.

The Tommies won the women's title by 22 strokes. Grace Gilmore of runner-up Carleton was medalist.
