After its Soundset headlining set got cancelled by a tornado warning and lightning, Atmosphere is squeezing in another hometown outdoor gig before the season ends. Slug & Co. will play their first-ever show at the Cabooze Plaza on Sept. 7, which is also the kickoff date their fall tour. Tickets ($25) go on sale Friday at noon, and are likely to sell out fast (click here for details). The Cabooze lot usually holds about 2,500 people. It's an all-ages gig and will feature two more local rap vets, I Self Devine and Carnage, who are opening the whole month-long tour. Rhymesayers is saying these will be Atmosphere's last dates of 2012, a year that saw them playing everywhere from South Africa to New Zealand. But not Shakopee.
