After a relatively quiet start, the tropics are beginning to show some signs oflife in the far-eastern Atlantic.An elongated cluster of showers and thunderstorms over the southeasternAtlantic is slowly organizing as is moves generally west to west-northwest.
Though a center of circulation has not yet been identified, conditions outahead of the system are conducive for development. Dry air remains to the northas the system is experiencing little in the way of unfavorable wind shear. Seasurface water temperatures are warm in the system's path.
A large dome of high pressure will steer the low westward through the week, asit approaches the Leeward and Windward islands by late week.
