At least one dead in head-on crash in McLeod County

A multicar crash in McLeod County, west of the Twin Cities, claimed at least one life Saturday afternoon.

A fatal, head-on crash was reported about noon on Hwy. 15 south of Brownton, Minn., according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Brownton is about 60 miles west of Minneapolis.

The crash involved three cars, one pulling a boat trailer.

Additional details about the crash weren't immediately available.

The road was blocked Saturday afternoon as emergency crews worked the scene.
