Reid Weisman shared the video from the International Space Station

June 11, 2014 at 6:12PM

Take some time this afternoon to do some social media stargazing, courtesy of NASA astronaut Reid Weisman.

It's the first Vine video posted from space. Weisman, who has a Twitter account filled with space and astronaut-life tidbits, made the time-lapse video aboard the International Space Station.

Weisman's caption explainst that the sun never sets in the video because the space station is flying parallel to the Earth's "terminator line" that separates day and night.

Pretty neat, huh?
