The Pleasant Hill Library will host its winter used book sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The event at the library, 1490 S. Frontage Road in Hastings, will feature DVDs, CDs and other items as well as books. Items unsold as of 1 p.m. Saturday will be sold off at half price.

Through Sunday, the public may donate used books and other materials for the sale. Donors may drop off items in the green container in the lobby.

Coffee concert with oboe, bass and harp"Savory blends of oboe, bass and harp" will be presented by the Vecchione/Erdahl Duo and harpist Ann Benjamin at the Lakeville Area Arts Center at 2 p.m. Sunday.

In the second of the Lakeville Center's season of "Coffee Concerts," which feature complimentary coffee, the program will include combinations of oboe, bass and harp in works by Debussy, St. Saëns, Brahms, Alwyn and Mann.

FARMINGTON

Spaghetti dinner set Feb. 26 at St. MichaelThe Knights of Columbus will host a spaghetti dinner and bingo beginning at 5:30 p.m. Feb 26 at the Church of St. Michael, 22120 Denmark Av. in Farmington.

Dinner will cost $7.50 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 or $25 for families. Children 5 and under may eat for free.

Proceeds will be used for charitable and service projects.
