Arts briefs: Rosemount Meet the Author series explores hearing loss

May 18, 2013 at 7:00PM

The Rosemount Area Arts Council and Robert Trail Library's Meet the Author series will feature the author of "What Did You Say? An Unexpected Journey into the World of Hearing Loss" on Tuesday.

Monique Hammond experienced hearing loss in 2005, when in a matter of four hours she went completely deaf in her left ear. The event put her on track to research the ear and hearing disorders.

Hammond will speak from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert Trail Library in Rosemount.
