Dance program looks at the 'natural world'
The Dodge Nature Center is presenting a summer dance program called "Moving with the Natural World."
The program is July 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and it's intended for anyone from kindergartners to seniors.
The 320-acre center speaks of experiencing its "beautiful prairie … in a new way: through movement. We will use creative movement and simple community dances to heighten our understanding of and connection to the natural world. We will move as blossoming trees, the rippling grass, a wave of water, a snail's spiral or a migrating bird."
No dance experience is necessary. The cost for adults is $12 and for children $6, except that it's free for those ages 2 and younger.
