The East Metro Symphony Orchestra will present "Concertos with Friends," its first concert of the season, at 3 p.m. next Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Loft Stage at East Ridge High School, 4200 Pioneer Drive in Woodbury.
The program will feature three soloists:
Kelly Karow, South Wash-ington County's high school orchestra director, performing the rarely heard oboe concerto L'Horloge de Flore -- "The Flower Clock."
Elizabeth Prielozny Barnes, the symphony's music director and conductor, performing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major.
Orchestra concertmaster Michal Sobieski performing the Brahms Violin Concerto. Sobieski is a member of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, and will be available at the door. Students with a School District 833 ID receive free admission.
