Arts briefs: Chameleon Theater to present quirky comedy 'Almost, Maine'

The Chameleon Theatre Circle's production of "Almost, Maine" is scheduled for performances Feb. 24 to March 11 at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center.

The script follows the residents of Almost, Maine, as they fall in and out of love in a variety of ways.

Shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 24 and 25 and March 2, 3, 5, 9 and 10 and for 2 p.m. on March 11.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $17 for seniors and students at the center's box office, 12600 Nicollet Av.

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS

Iran's music, culture subject of discussion Traditional Iranian music and culture will be the subject of a free discussion led by KFAI radio host Dan Rein from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Inver Glen Library, 8098 Blaine Av. in Inver Grove Heights.

Rein, host for two decades of "Century Song" on KFAI, has researched Iran's music and instruments. The presentation is part of the Dakota County Library's Minnesota Mosaic cultural arts series. The project is funded with money from Minnesota's Legacy Amendment.
