Lakeville's community theater group is looking for actors, mostly in their 40s, 50s and 60s, for its April production of the comedy "Mama Won't Fly."

Auditions, consisting of readings from the script, will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Jan. 9-10 and 1-4 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, 20965 Holyoke Av. Those who wish to audition should bring a current photo.

The plot of the family-friendly farce involves Savannah Honeycutt, who agrees to get her mother from Alabama to California in time for her brother's wedding, a task made harder by the fact that mama won't fly. The play is April 13-15 and 20-22. The show can be cast with as few as 10 parts or as many as 24.
