George Thorogood

The Minnesota Zoo concert lineup won't be announced until April and tickets won't go on sale until early May. But a little birdie told us some of the acts that will be playing at night at the Zoo's bird amphitheater.

How bout George Thorogood to rock the tigers? Even though Levon Helm and John Hiatt could each headline, they'll share a bill. Los Lobos will be back for two nights.

Look for new Rock Hall of Fame inductee Jimmy Cliff, Los Lonely Boys, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Gear Daddies, Greg Brown, Taj Mahal, Jerry Jeff Walker, Gaelic Storm, Edwin McCain, David Sanborn and Dave Koz.

That's just a start. Stock up on your bug spray. Sounds like another alluring summer for zoo concerts.
