Northeast Blustery and Cold as Blizzard Cleanup Continues

February 12, 2010 at 1:25PM

The Northeast and mid-Atlantic will remain blustery and cold today as thecleanup of the snow goes on from two blizzards that hit the mid-Atlantic inless than a week. Some areas have been buried by up to 4 feet of snow from thetwo storms.Temperatures will remain in the 20s in the interior and 30s in the major citiesas cold air circulates around an area of high pressure over the Midwest. Gustywinds will make it feel even colder.

Cities like Philadelphia and Baltimore are having problems getting rid of thesnow due to the volume that fell in both cities from these major winter storms.

Dry weather will continue through the weekend, helping cleanup efforts.

However, more snow is forecast to fall in the mid-Atlantic early next week.

The map below shows snow totals from the Tuesday-Wednesday blizzard.
