The annual holiday concert is long on stocking stuffers and short on big names.

Remember when KDWB's Jingle Ball had big names? Like Kanye West in 2007 before he cancelled due to his mother's death. Like Rihanna and Chris Brown last year or Fall Out Boy in '06.

For this year's Jingle Ball, KDWB has landed Jordin Sparks as a headliner. Sure, she's an American Idol who's scored a few hits (Tattoo, No Air, Battlefield) but an arena headliner she is not.

Joining her at Xcel Energy Center on Dec. 6 will be hit rapper Pitbull, easy-listening songbird Colbie Caillat, Boston alt-popsters Boys Like Girls and electronica duo 3oh!3, Usher's 15-year-old protege Justin Bieber, "Down" charttopper Jay Sean and Owl City, the bouncy pop group from Owatonna destined to be the next hit act out of Minnesota.

Tickets, priced from $24.75 to $75, will go on sale Saturday. You also can win them by listening to KDWB 101.3 FM.
