This summer I took a two-week trip to France with my siblings. Before, during and after I read "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah. I absolutely loved the book! Part of our trip included Normandy and many sites that were active during World War II. Places were mentioned in the book that we went to, and our tour guide was from one of the important locations in the book. I love historical fiction and it makes visiting those places even more memorable. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in World War II.
