Bob Seger isn't yet ready to turn the page on his 2017 itinerary and has added a Nov. 15 date at Xcel Energy Center along with a handful of other shows to his Runaway Train Tour. Tickets for the St. Paul concert go on sale next Saturday, Sept. 16, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $59-$125.

The Silver Bullet Band leader, 72, last played in town to a sold-out Xcel Center crowd in 2013 when he had fellow Detroit hitmaker Kid Rock for his opening act, but he's leaving the Kid to his own devices this time out. No opener has been named for the St. Paul date on his tour, which features such warm-up acts as Heart's Nancy Wilson and Larkin Poe in other cities.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 on the strength of "Night Moves," "Old Time Rock and Roll," "Hollywood Nights" and other '70s/'80s radio staples, Seger seemed to be running against the wind there for quite a few years. But he appeared to be healthy and spirited again at the 2013 St. Paul show, according to Jon Bream's review.
