Men's Ncaa National Championship Game 8:20 p.m. Monday • University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Ariz. • Ch. 4

North Carolina (32-7), playing for its sixth title overall and third under coach Roy Williams, is back in the final after losing at the buzzer to Villanova last year, while Gonzaga (37-1) is playing for the championship for the first time. The only other time Gonzaga and North Carolina met in the NCAA tournament, the Tyler Hansbrough-led Tar Heels rolled over the Bulldogs 98-77 to win in the Sweet 16 in 2009. Gonzaga won the only other meeting between the schools 82-74, coming a season earlier in the Preseason NIT. It's the second time in three years two No. 1 seeds have played for the title; before Duke beat Wisconsin in 2015, the last time that happened was 2008 (Kansas-Memphis).
