Chrysler, Jeep garner loyalty awards

Chrysler LLC earned two top awards at the recent annual R.L. Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards. The 2009 Chrysler Town & Country garnered the "Automotive Loyalty Award-Minivan" for the eighth year in a row, and Jeep Grand Cherokee captured the "Automotive Loyalty Award-Midsize SUV." The awards recognize manufacturers for superior owner loyalty performance and are based on the number of households that own a new vehicle and return to the market and purchase or lease another new vehicle of the same model or make. Stephen Polk, chairman, president and CEO of R.L. Polk Co., said that Chrysler's eighth-straight win in the minivan category "is a true testament to Chrysler's understanding of customer needs in the minivan segment."
