Scene + Heard: Taste & Toast at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

September 5, 2015 at 7:00PM

The gardens of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum were in full bloom, but the annual Taste & Toast fundraiser boasted a lot more than just pretty flowers. Local restaurants, bakeries, wineries and breweries set up shop in the Arb's manicured gardens and offered samples of their wares — from watermelon gazpacho and poached shrimp on cucumber to fruit tarts and crisp Minnesota wines. Sponsored by the Arboretum Foundation, the summery event drew guests from around the Twin Cities, who tasted and toasted and enjoyed the spectacular al fresco setting.
