SALEM, Ore. — A 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 6 a.m. Friday about 25 miles west of Salem, Oregon.
A report from the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network says it was centered about 16 miles deep.
A sheriff's dispatcher in Salem says the 911 center received calls from residents saying they felt the shaking, but there are no reports of damage.
The quake was near Willamina in Oregon's Coast Range. That's 250 miles from the area south of Lakeview in northwest Nevada where hundreds of small quakes have been recorded in a swarm that began last July.
