MILWAUKEE — Roughly 400 people have attended a fundraiser for the family of a 5-year-old girl who was fatally shot when bullets were fired into her grandparents' Milwaukee home.

The weekend benefit in honor of Laylah Petersen raised money for the girl's funeral and therapy services for her family. Any remaining money will go into a trust fund for the girl's sister.

Laylah was killed Nov. 6 when gunfire tore through her grandparents' home on the city's North Side. Police say two people approached the house and fired numerous times. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

WTMJ-TV reports a silent auction at the Saturday benefit in Menomonee Falls included autographed basketball shoes donated by Milwaukee Bucks players Jabari Parker and Johnny O'Bryant.
