We landed Paul McCartney and the Replacements for stadium shows.

As predicted here last week, the Beyonce/Jay Z On the Run Tour of stadiums will not be headed to the Twin Cities.

The closest date is Chicago's Soldier Field on July 24. There are 16 concerts on the Mr. and Mrs. Carter tour that was announced today.

The hype for the tour states "300 million records worldwide, 36 Grammys, 2 philanthropists, 1 tour, 1 stage, this summer."

Tickets, priced from $40.50 to $251, will go on sale May 2 at www.livenation.com, with $1 per ticket going to Jay Z's charity, the Shawn Carter Foundation, that helps socio-economically disadvantaged students pay for higher education.

Members of Beyonce's fan club will have access to tickets at 8 a.m. April 29 (www.beyonce.com/tour) while people who hold Chase credit or debit cards will have access to tickets at 10 a.m. April 29.
