Bio: With the Gophers — and early in her USA Hockey career — Marvin was a forward. She now is among the Americans' steadiest and most productive defensemen, adapting quickly to her new position through her expansive knowledge of the game and her rink-rat roots. A veteran of six world championships, Marvin has been her team's top-scoring defenseman in the past two, with a goal and three assists in last spring's run to the gold medal. Her 95 games in international play is the third-highest total on the Olympic team behind Julie Chu and Hilary Knight.
