Celebrate Legends and Logging Days in Park Rapids, Minn., on Friday and Saturday, and watch master chainsaw woodcarvers create pieces of art that will be auctioned off, check out archery/tomahawk, lumberjack and lumberjill competitions, logging demonstrations, tour a historical homestead and a rendezvous encampment and listen to music and more on the Antique Tractor and Engine Grounds. Pre-festival events on Thursday include live music and Water Wars downtown on Main Street. Visitors can stop by Itasca State Park to see the headwaters of the Mississippi River.
