In case you missed it, Rodney Williams reportedly signed a free agent deal with the 76ers

This tweet from Adrian Wojnarowski at Yahoo somehow escaped our attention, probably because he sent it out at 5:16 a.m. today. Seriously, does the guy ever sleep? And is there any national writer better at his job?

In any event, assuming Woj is correct (and 99.9 percent of the time he is), ex-Gopher Rodney Williams, who was not drafted last night, has agreed to a free agent deal with the 76ers. We imagine Rodney will spend some time in the D-League, and who knows -- maybe all that athleticism will lead him to the promsied land of the NBA some day.
