Job fair planned for high school students
The Business Education Committee of the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce will hold a job fair aimed at high school students from 3-6 p.m. May 22 at Lakeville South High School.
High school students will run the fair, which is open to all high school students in the Lakeville area.

Friends of Education nominations sought
The Lakeville School District is seeking nominations for its Friends of Education Awards, which honor outstanding individual contributions to the Lakeville schools in four categories.
Members of the community may nominate people they feel are deserving of these awards, which will be presented at the 2013 Staff Recognition Reception on May 22.
Nomination forms are available in any school's office and at www.isd194.k12.mn.us. Entries must be returned by May 13 to Linda Swanson at the Lakeville School District Office, 8670 210th St. W., Lakeville.

Volunteers to receive award
Six volunteers were selected to receive the 2013 John Coskran Volunteer Award in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District.
Recipients are Sangeetha Shreedaran, Beth Spaude, Kim Robinson, Richard Kutz, Jean Kutz and Terry Walters.
