Cheapo Records is merging its two St. Paul stores into its space on the west side of Snelling Avenue, and Buffalo Wild Wings is looking at moving into the building the music store is vacating across Snelling.

Cheapo's consolidation may be complete as soon as this weekend, a store manager said Wednesday.

Buffalo Wild Wings, a wings-and-beer chain, is seeking approval from the city for a plan to remodel the retail store into a restaurant, add an outdoor trash area and reconfigure the parking lot.
