'Book of Mormon' tickets to go on sale

Single ticket seats to the Broadway blockbuster will become available

Single tickets for "The Book of Mormon," the Broadway musical that won nine Tonys, go on sale Sept. 21 for next year's Minneapolis touring engagement.

The blockbuster show features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone created the animated series, "South Park" while Lopez co-created "Avenue Q."

"Mormon" plays the Orpheum Feb. 5-17, 2013 under the direction of Parker and choreographer Casey Nicholaw.

Tickets, which start at $35, will be available in person at 5 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Orpheum Theatre box office, 910 Hennepin Av. S., Minneapolis and at 7 p.m. online or on the phone at 1-800-982-2787.
