Apple Valley man critical after Hwy. 52 crash near Rosemount

A 31-year-old Apple Valley man was in critical condition Tuesday when his pickup truck rear-ended a semi-trailer truck on southbound Hwy. 52 near Rosemount.

The accident, which occurred about 3:30 p.m., closed the highway for a short time and traffic was diverted to eastbound Hwy. 55.

Justin L. Fettig was driving the pickup, which ended up under the semi's trailer after the rear-end collision that occurred between 140th St. E. and Hwy. 55, according to the State Patrol.

The driver of the semi, Randall E. Kellison, 54, of Tilden, Ill., wasn't hurt.
